Well, the original site Banzhafwatch.com has been gone for years and we feel the need to resurrect it to make people aware of the scumbag who wants to sue America.
Banzhaf is a winner. Compairing the 911 attacks to smoking. What was he thinking?
John Banzhaf thinks you aren't smart enough to run your own life, that's why

From his Supersized Lawsuits that clog the courts to the frenzy of getting Electronic Cigarette banned, Banzhaf is every ambulance chasing lawyers hero.
Did you know that ASH (Action on Smoking and Health, in which Banzhaf organized and has a website that looks like a third grader designed it) take very large kickbacks from Big Pharma companies like Pfizer (producers of Chantix, a stop smoking drug known to kill), yet is going out of his way to get electronic cigarettes banned? We know why Johnny boy. We know why.
And also interesting to note, that ASH taken credit to have e-cigarettes removed from AMAZON.COM, yet does nothing about the pletura of candy and fruit flavored nicotine gums that you can buy there. With little or NO age check! It is no secret that ASH is in bed with big Pharma, and this only underscores that.
But check this out!
Their outlandish claims on third hand cigarette smoke, "smokers breath", claiming that 30 minutes of contact with second hand cigarette tobacco smoke induces heart attacks (which they site the CDC claims, which does not exist), is classic.
All with no scientific facts to back his claims.
But it does not stop there. These claims are so ridiculous that prominent doctors of medicine find the claims foolish!

Not only that, Banzhaf is rabid anti SMOKER (not anti smoking, mind you, but anti SMOKER). His ASH group opposes heart transplants for smokers (and former smokers). He teaches that smokers are abusive parents.
Anyway, back to the story. In case you're not aware, JB is the trial lawyer who dreamt up the tobacco lawsuits that drained billions of dollars from a legal industry and made lawyers like JB billionaires. That's billionaires with a capital B!
His lawsuits against the fast food industry are a prime example of a lawyer gone mad.
JB is the poster child for run amok trial lawyers, even by his own admission. With his “Sue the Bastards” plates on his car and his shameless self promotion as a “legal terrorist,” JB epitomizes all that is wrong with our legal system and the growing epidemic of law suit abuse.
According to Frontiers of Freedom Vice President of Policy Kerri Houston, replacing personal responsibility with a “blame others” mentality is a
dangerous position. “Individual freedom and the accountability that goes
with it is one of our nations¹ cornerstones, and replacing it with trendy
attacks on corporations does not improve out nations health. However, it
does provide open season for trial lawyers to improve their wealth,”
JB is the head of a new troubling movement that believes there is no such thing as PERSONAL
RESPONSIBILITY! At a debate in Washington, D.C. he said before hundreds of disbelievers
that personal responsibility was "crap!"
JB has begun cultivating the next cash crop for the trial lawyers: Electronic Cigarettes.
At stake are millions of American smokers who will be forced to return to cigarettes which are known to KILL, because a far safer way has been invented. ASH can have none of that. No smoke, no kickbacks from Pfizer because nobody buys Chantixs anymore. And JB craves the attention.
What's next? Will he sue car makers for making cars that potentially kill? Will he sue
cereal companies for making Lucky Charms so darn tasty and thus potentially addictive? Will
he sue his mother for not teaching him better eating habits as a youth?
Whatever his next target, we'll be watching. In the meantime, stay tuned for more
information about the progress of his rabid campaign to ban Electronic Cigarettes. We love to read the press releases from a self-serving bastard like that, whos website is nothing more than a shrine to his own ego.
